Biography
Connor is a Ph.D. candidate in American Politics and Political Methodology. His research applies quantitative and causal inference methods to public opinion, economic perceptions, and the politics of consumer finance and lending regulation. His coursework includes advanced quantitative methods and graduate-level microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Before graduate school, Connor worked in the Financial Economics practice at Charles River Associates in Washington, D.C., where he built statistical models in R, Python, and Stata to assess compliance with lending regulations across home loans, auto loans, and credit cards for federal regulators and industry clients. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from Ohio State University.
